1. Who we are
The Start-Up Studio is a business support programme funded by Staffordshire County Council, operated by RTi Solutions LLP (OC455657) and delivered by Clare Harford.

2. What this website is for
This website provides information about the Start-Up Studio programme - a free, publicly funded business support programme for people starting or growing a business in Lichfield District.
It allows you to:
- Learn about the programme and what it offers
- Book a place on a free workshop (via Eventbrite)
- Book a 1-to-1 session (via Google Calendar)
- Express interest in Business Club
- Contact the programme team
- Access the Learning Centre (which links to Business Growth Engine articles)
It is a programme information and access site. It is not a commercial platform.
3. The programme
Eligibility
The Start-Up Studio is free to eligible participants. To be eligible you must:
- Be based in Lichfield District or the surrounding eligible area
- Be at the pre-start stage or early stages of trading (broadly within your first 0-2 years)
We reserve the right to assess eligibility at registration and to decline participation where criteria are not met.
Funded programme
The programme is funded by Staffordshire County Council under contract IA3856. Participation involves the collection and reporting of attendance data to SCC. By registering, you agree to this requirement. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Availability
Workshop places are subject to availability. Booking a place does not guarantee attendance if a session is cancelled or oversubscribed. We will give reasonable notice of any changes to planned sessions.
Business Club
Business Club is an additional support offer facilitated by Clare Harford and made available to eligible programme participants during the SCC contract period. It is not a funded or regulated component of the SCC programme. Access is arranged directly with Clare Harford.
4. Booking and external services
Workshop bookings are handled by Eventbrite. 1-to-1 session bookings are handled via Google Calendar. When you use these services, you are subject to their own terms and conditions. We are not responsible for the operation, availability, or data practices of these third-party platforms.
5. Learning Centre
The Learning Centre on this website displays articles from Business Growth Engine (businessgrowthengine.co.uk). Clicking a Learning Centre card will take you to the Business Growth Engine website. Business Growth Engine content is governed by its own terms and policies.

Content on this website and delivered through the programme is for general educational and informational purposes. It is designed to support people thinking about or starting a business.

Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.

12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute arising in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
