Business Club Stay Connected. Stay Accountable.

A free weekly online session for Start-Up Studio participants who want ongoing support, accountability, and momentum after the workshop.

Business Club is Clare Harford's weekly live founder session - offered free to Start-Up Studio participants as part of the programme. It helps founders stay focused, follow through on what they said they would do, and keep moving between workshops.

"Most businesses don't fail because of one bad decision. They stall because momentum fades."

The hard part isn't starting. It's staying consistent.

Leaving the workshop with a plan is the beginning. Staying focused on it week by week - without structure, without accountability, without anyone asking - is where most people struggle.

Founders staying consistent through weekly Business Club

You left the workshop energised - but without a consistent weekly structure, the momentum has started to fade

You know what you should be doing - but without someone expecting it of you, it keeps getting deprioritised

You are making decisions in isolation and second-guessing yourself more than you would like

You start reacting to the week instead of following the plan you originally set

You want the focus and energy of the workshop around you every week - not just once a month

Business Club is the weekly structure that keeps the workshop working.

You have a consistent anchor in your week - same time, same space, same expectation

The things you keep putting off start getting done - because someone is asking about them

You make decisions faster because you are thinking them through out loud with people who understand

You start following through more consistently on the things that matter

You stop feeling like you are figuring it all out alone

Momentum is a habit. Business Club is the structure that makes it one.

    How Business Club works

Every session follows the same format. That consistency is what makes it work - you know what to expect, you come prepared, and you leave with something done.

    Business Club session in action
    Check-In

Every session opens with a brief round. What you committed to last week - what happened. No judgment, just honesty. The group holds you to what you said.

    Focus

A live topic, challenge, or working problem. Sometimes Clare brings a framework. Sometimes a member brings a question. Always practical, always grounded.

    Problem-Solving

Got something specific? Bring it. The session is a working space - not a talk shop. Real problems, real input, real answers.

    Commit

Every session closes with a commitment. What you are doing before next week. Stated, in front of the group. That is where the accountability actually lives.

    Is this right for you?

    This is for you if:

You have attended a Start-Up Studio workshop and want ongoing support
You work better when someone is expecting something from you
You want consistent weekly contact with other founders at a similar stage
You lose momentum when you are working on your own
You want practical support and accountability - not motivation content

This probably isn't for you if:

You want passive content or a large networking group
You are looking for formal coaching or a structured programme with modules
You are not willing to engage consistently or attend regularly
You want motivation and inspiration without follow-through
You have not yet attended a Start-Up Studio workshop

What a typical Business Club session looks like

Sessions run for 60 minutes. Here is how the time is used.

    1Open (0-10 min)

Quick round of check-ins. What you committed to last week, what happened. Fast, honest, no performances.

    2Focus topic (10-30 min)

Clare introduces a topic, a framework, or a working challenge. Always practical, never theoretical.

    3Hot seat / open working (30-50 min)

A member brings a live problem. The group works it. Or open Q&A - whatever the room needs most that week.

    4Close and commit (50-60 min)

Every member names their commitment for the week. Out loud, in front of the group. That is the bit that makes it work.

Sessions are Zoom-based, accessible from anywhere. The members who show up consistently are the ones who move fastest.
